Tony Hudspith is from Hartlepool, and is a self employed alarm installer. He has a photo of him in the White Knights, who transport blood and other bodily fluids in emergencies. He'd like to put a bit of money towards them. He also has a picture of him with his family; his wife is in the audience for support.

Banker time...

The Banker says Tony looks like a Picasso painting due to his lipstick mark! He says Tony is the first player for a while to arrive with a game plan, but he's not buying it!

Banker's offer:

£500

The Banker doesn't believe for a moment that Tony is after the £250,000!

Tony says:

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

£500?! Well he's pissed the Banker off big time!

That offer was under 2% of the mean!

Round 2

Noel says Tony has not convinced the Banker that he's after the £250,000! The Banker says he is so convinced that Tony will not spank him, that, if he does, he will let Joyce do the Macarena!

Banker time...

Now the life changers are really isolated, says Noel. The Banker is intrigued by Pat's nudist beach story! He says Tony has an interesting board; if he is serious about going for the £250,000, he will be making a serious of dangerous decisions.

Banker's offer:

£3,000

Tony can see where the Banker's coming from. Lloyd and Mark offer some advice; Lisa says Tony is the sort of guy to make brave decisions.

Tony says:

NO DEAL

Noel says it's interesting to see people find the game so difficult.

Noel calls a break...

Advice for 10% of the mean? WTF?!

Second break at 20 minutes past...looks like that if he's still in live play after five box with the £250,000 we may see "extra" offers made.

Round 3

Noel says Tony has thrown down the Gauntlet by saying he wants to be the first male £250,000 winner. But he wants to go for the money to help the charity and his children. He talks about how his children have autism, and the difficulties they face. He wants his children to meet other children with similar difficulties. (From my own experience, that is a really good idea)

We did not want to see the back up to the big two go, says Noel. Now they are horrendously exposed.

Banker time...

Noel is struggling to remember when he last saw a board like that. The Banker's mind is racing: Tony made the comment about how, when he wins the £250,000, it will make a big difference to others. Then, during the previous offer's deliberation, Mark said Tony had been saying he'd go for it since he arrived. The Banker says he can't doubt Tony's tenacity and determination. This offer will test Tony's resolve.

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Noel says that is double the fallback. Rich says, when Tony told him about the good causes he works for, he said nothing about his children; now he knows that, he doesn't want him to gamble. Tony's wife says they could still do what he wants with £10,000. Mark offers some more advice as well.

Tony says:

NO DEAL

A lot of people would have gone then (apart from me) but looks like he is going to stick to his word.

The Banker calls, and says he is now very worried; maybe Tony really does have what it takes to win the £250,000.

Noel calls a break...

Why do I have the feeling that this all about to go horribly, horribly wrong? We've all seen what happens to money chasers, and it's usually not good.
