Not much spiel from me today, I'm freezing bloody cold in my own home. The heating isn't on and it won't be on until much later. There's a good chance the old fingers will drop off before the end of this game.

Edmonds chats about something or other involding Hannah, presumably. I'm typing this before he says it, so we'll leave it at that.

There are decorations in the studio.

It's JEAN today

Hopefully, a better result than the last Jean had. :eyes:

Jean Hughes is a retired Pharmacy Assistant from Bootle. Rock star lifestyle material there.

Picture of the husband, George, who Jean met a very long time ago. A very long time ago indeed. 57 years.

Another picture now, the grandchildren. One of them looks like the guy out of Hear'Say.

Housekeeping done, off we go.

Sarah (Box 18) - £100,000

That's horrible. Why would you reveal that one, Sarah ?

Bert (Box 15) - 50p

''Hard work'' says Bert. Hah ! Try typing this commentary in a room colder than the atmosphere at an Arsenal match.

Bert wants to live to be 105. Interesting.

Frank Spencer the newbie (Box 1) - £50

Lorraine (Box 13) - £250

What is Kris wearing on his head ? Good lord.

Ria (Box 7) - £250,000

Ria you horrible mare.

Or Steve, to give his real name. ;)

Now that's a very good offer seeing as the top two went.

The Banker laughs down the phone. You know, Noel could just *not* put the phone to his microphone. Nonsense.

Opening offer will be something rubbish. £1,500 ? £3,000 ? £800 ?

None of the above, it's actually £2,500

Right, let's submit this one quick - NO DEAL

BREAK !

First break is always speedy now. A quick one while we're away. See that, almost a 'Who' title drop :D

Lisa (Box 22) - £5

Dan (Box 4) - £50,000

This game is like a longshore drift. ...I don't know how to complete the analogy.

Jean (Box 8 ) - 1p

Some chatter about elves and their resemblance to Jean and Pat.

£4,000 evaluation.

Jean talks about marriage and presents a very biased view of it.

NO DEAL

I won't say too much about Kris, despite the 'stylish' hat. Not only is he quite sharp with insults, but he could end my life as I know it with no trouble.

Kris (Box 12) - £20,000

Rich (Box 21) - hang on, after the break !

Oh come on, a break at 13-box?!

Also, why didn't Kris get £100 for insulting Noel? :P

£5,500 is the evaluation now. Seems a bit rubbish.

Everyone says the board is worth another round and Jean agrees with this.

NO DEAL

''WAHHHHH - What you gone done that fooooor ??'' Is what Mick Jagger would say if he was playing.

Billy (Box 6) - £3,000

A stick is very good considering. Arguable offer either way.

That's so often a winning move nowadays - lowballing the third offer, make the fourth look better.

Well we know what is going to happen now. Such a stupid idea to go to a break like that! :x

"There's an amount on there I'd like to have" most likely £15,000 or £35,000.

The Banker wants to stop Jean now and he worries that no offer will be enough to get her out.

£5,500. Now that is decent.

Not paying attention to anything that's being said, I'm having a conversation with my friend about Top Gear. So I'll just give the response to the question, which she is mulling over.

Which will come after the break.

Timing left of the comeback after the break... it's clear she was dealing. 99% of the others would have probably gone on.
