''One hour until doughnuts''.

The Banker's 3pm tweet gives away who'll be taking their turn in the dream factory today. I'll have to pour myself a glass of Schnapps just to get through it...

Gosh, it still feels weird turning the simulcast on at five minutes to and NOT seeing the end of Countdown and Hewer's jug featured face. Instead we have Toksvig hosting a game show which sees just under 5 viewers a day and will be cancelled at the end of the week (citation needed).

''We're in Huddersfield for Come Dine With Me at 5pm... just after Deal or No Deal''.

Edmonds walks onto the set yammers on about it being a random game. We are treated to clip of Kirsti's game, where we went ghost hunting.

Playing today is.... (surprise, surprise) DONNA !

Noel says he is in ''a little bit of love'' with Donna.

Donna Williams is from Newcastle and works in a hotel... the very same hotel where the show auditions were held. Donna has been going to a slimming class for 10 years and has put weight on with each passing year. Not a good advert for her particular slimming class.

Want to hear my two cents on this ? Cut down on your doughnuts.

The customary picture of the children is shown. Her other half, Craig, is not present today and has stayed at home. He also likes his food.

Donna has brought some pixie dust with her. She likes being a Geordie. Good for you.

Housekeeping done, let's begin !

Donna of course isn't the first "doughnut" player. Let's hope she does better than the last one.

Round 1:

Well, before we open some lids, The Banker rings up. He says that Donna has been such a genuinely funny person and if she hits the 1p in the openeing round, everyone gets a doughnut.

Boxes 7 and 10 are being kept for now. Special numbers you see.

Marion (Box 8 ) - £10

The 'Pretzel' box delivers the goods.

Tony (Box 20) - 10p

Charlotte (Box 18) - 1p

GET DOWN TONIGHT !!

Charlotte has a cracking body, it has to be said.

Everyone gets their doughnut, contestants, pilgrims, camera operators. The lot.

Each contestant is now 2 pounds heavier. Not good, baybeeeh.

Adamu (Box 2) - £50

Billy (Box 4) - £50,000

It only took about 150,000 years to finish round 1.

''Fantastic !''

£12,000

More accidental (?) innuendo from Noel and Donna.

She's ready quickly, ''NO DEAL''.

I think we probably needed a break after all that!

And what if one of the players or pilgrims didn't like doughnuts?

I have never heard the word 'doughnut' mentioned so much in one show. At least once she is gone we won't have to hear any more stupid doughnut banter again.

With all this doughnut talk to fill out round 1, Donna might get good offers to draw an early deal so the edit can work!

Just for the record, is the correct spelling doughnut or donut? I do copy editing for the magazine I write for, so for me, this is worth knowing.

This is worth it for the behind the scenes look more than anything else.

And that's the best all-red round in a while.

The former here. The US seems to use the latter more.

We see a clip of Noel's wife, who is sitting backstage.

Hardik (Box 12) - £5,000

According to Wikipedia

"In the US, both are used, with donut indicated as a variant of doughnut. In the UK, donut is indicated as an American variant for doughnut"

£15,000 is pretty good for that board given that was an all-red round.

One of my co-workers just went off to the nearby coffee shop, and she asked the rest of us if we wanted anything. I told her to get me a donut, LOL .

Offer number two is...

£15,000

Noel goes through Donna's ambitions. She wants a new kitchen and a static caravan. Donna talks in detail about her desired caravan. Natalie looks disgusted.

''NO DEAL''

To have four of the top six at the halfway stage would still be jammy. ;)

We'll doubtless not get an 11-box Deal now.
