Kirsti has, in Box 2 - £750

Hannah (Box 6) - £250

Kirsti is happy with her 1990s money and is going to use it to go to Rio.

Enjoy £5,000 Kirsti.

Regardless of how cautious that deal was, lets just be pleased she took the money. As I've said before, having that fifth round in LIVE play would've been much worse to watch.

I now feel compelled to pick up my Ghost Stories book that has been on the 'living room' book shelf since 1971.

Lovely personality displayed from Kirsti, came across well despite the shenanigans. Well done on the £5,000 :D

Well the boxes forgave her, as will her fan club, I imagine.

I don't mind having a bit of joking around during the first few rounds - it helps make games feel different and is a nice contrast to how tense it gets later on - but the ghost hunting just felt a bit directionless, and Noel seemed to be trying too hard to be dramatic again.

I think Kirsti's deal may have been one of the lowest ever with the £250k still in play!

Pleasant enough lass anyway, good luck to her.

Definitely in the top 5, if not top 3.

Lowest was Beryl dealing £3,100 about 68 years ago.

Indeed, my initial thought was that that game would have been worth forgetting had any of us played it.

It was just unfortunate that she hit the £100,000 when she did. Even if she'd hit the £5,000 instead, she'd probably have had an offer of around £10,000, maybe a bit more.

The Banker said he would've offered £15k+ if she hit a blue instead of the £100k. However, I find it hard to believe everything he says. :P

The ghost hunting first bit was OK, but should have been left at that. A shame that the game never got going as she did seem like a really nice girl. So many blues to hit and just two boxes to avoid - you know that if it was £15k at 8 box she would have taken it!

Anyway, hope Kirsti enjoys the money and finally does get to see at least a bit of the world!!!

Well I thought that was a fun game, yes the ghost hunting gag was stretched out a bit too much but Kirsti really threw herself into it.

While I can see why people think the offers were low I think it's worth bearing in mind how many of the middle-high reds Kirsti stripped out, on a board with no back up the Banker could have well pitched his offers below the £5,000 fall back, especially with the penny still in play. The fact he didn't made the offers at least worth thinking about, and given how unlucky Kirsti was when it came to picking boxes it's just as well she erred on the side of caution.

I'd describe that as prudent rather than defeatist
