It would be an utter insult if the offer went down. He did avoid the remaining Power 5!

Back to £13,000 would probably be enough, not sure anything less would do it though.

£13,000 would be a good offer.

We're back...

Noel says everyone is confused as to what will happen next after the previous round.

Banker's offer:

£11,500

That's a good uplift considering, says Noel. Jake says the board is more in the Banker's favour, and says Mathew won't get an offer like that again if he hits the top three. Donna and Harrison offer some advice as well. Mathew says these are some of the most difficult decisions he's had to make in his life.

Mathew says:

NO DEAL

More 'stating the obvious/you may hit the top 3' advice. We need pep talks to be introduced and quick...

Hmm.. it's not a bad offer.

Am I the only one getting sick of the people on the wings stating the bleedin' obvious? :x

Round 5

Noel tells Mathew to keep it calm.

Box 9 with Harrison - £3,000

Box 7 with Marion - £75,000 :(

That is very painful, says Noel. Mathew says there is still some good money there.

Box 11 with Mike - £5,000

Banker time...

That is a very difficult 5-box to play, says Noel. The Banker says Mathew's attitude is spot on at the moment, and it's a difficult offer to make.

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Mathew says that's real money, and it'd do a lot for him and his wife. Noel says a few people expected less there. Some advice from Jason, who wants Mathew to go home with something, as he could have the 1p in his box like Deepa did. Carla says Mathew would be happy with £10,000, but we've seen several games where the player could've had big money, so he could go on. Russ offers some advice on how long it would take Mathew to save £10,000.

Mathew says:

DEAL

Round 6 - proveout

Noel says people didn't want Mathew to go away with a small sum. Box 22 is staying.

Box 15 with Carla - £35,000

Box 17 with Chan - £10

One more shot, says Noel.

Box 19 with Russ - 1p

Banker time with £50 and £50,000 remaining.

Wow, says Noel.

Banker's offer would've been:

£13,000

Box 22 with Sue contains the £50,000.

Noel reminds us that Mathew nearly picked Box 22 in the first round!

Mathew says he is feeling elated, and the first thing he will do is tell his wife the good news. :D
