Hazel's game today.

Noel says he loves the show, because no-one has any idea about what is going to happen. He talks about David's game, and how he produced three perfect rounds, but only one was in LIVE play.

Hazel has Box 6 today.

Noel says he's not sure about this one!

Helen Philson, known as Hazel because she's a bit 'nutty'. She is a retired librarian from Londonderry. Noel reminds us of Hazel's remarks the other day that he's on 'the runway of life'! Hazel has a photo of her grandson, and her children and partner are in the audience for support. Hazel calls her partner 'Noel' by mistake!

Here we go...

Round 1

Box 5 with Hardik - £5

Box 9 with Natalie - £1

Wow, says Hazel.

Mike says he now has a crush on Noel's shoes!

Box 16 with Mike - 10p

Three of them now, says Noel.

Box 14 with Kirsti - £10

My goodness, says Hazel. Find the penny, and it's the best opening round ever, says Noel.

Hazel picks Jason next, but Noel calls a break first...

I really HATE it when Noel yells "HOLD IT" like that. 18-box breaks are STUPID!

This is just like what he did with Win last week. I only hope Hazel doesn't have the £250k like her.

I know I've been critical of Noel's OTT intros in the past but showing a drawn-out replay of David's game at the start was probably even worse... :|

Why is it that when we are so close to big moments like this, Noel has to call a break. Just stop it Noel! We didn't have 18-box breaks in series 1-7 so why start it now?

Probably still one of the best opening rounds ever! And perhaps that moment was a bit more suspenseful than just waiting for Hazel to turn down the first offer...

That's still a sensational start, says Noel. The Banker says that wasn't a record breaker, but it was still seriously good. He says he already knew about Mike's crush on Noel's shoes, as he saw him dating a pair in the hotel last night! The Banker fears he might have fallen in love with Hazel!

Banker's offer:

£14,500

Round 2

Noel says Hazel has been writing poetry during her time on the show; Hazel says it is all readable! The Banker sends one of Hazel's poems through: it is about Hazel fancying Noel since 1982! The Banker calls, and says he's written one for Hazel, which Noel retrieves from the table cupboard, and reads!

Box 10 with Charlotte - £35,000

We don't know how to react to that, says Noel.

Box 8 with Chan - £100

That has wiped the £35,000 significance, says Noel.

Box 19 with Pat - £100,000

Banker time...

The Banker says Hazel was protected by such a strong start.

A stick is generous considering she took out £135k in that round.

Another shock in the final box, says Noel. It's amazing how quickly the game turns, he says. Hazel talks about how she wants to take her partner to the Maldives. The Banker says the very strong start now feels a very long time ago, and the game could turn quickly.

Banker's offer:

£14,500

Some advice is offered, with Charlotte, a travel agent, saying a holiday to the Maldives for Hazel and her partner would probably cost about £6,000. Marc says there's good cash left on the board, and the chances of hitting the £250,000 is about 27.28%. Hazel's children offer some advice as well.

Noel says a second stick is the legacy of such a good start, and losing the £75,000 and keeping the £250,000 might not be enough.

Hazel says:

NO DEAL
