We're back...

Noel says David was feeling deflated, but he's swung it round now. The Banker says that was spectacular.

Banker's offer:

£9,000

That's the top of the game so far, says Noel. David says that feels much better. He says he's been meaning to do up his back garden for ages. David says he's seen several 4-4 splits, and the Banker keeps winning them. Hardik says, if David loses any of the big sums, he won't see £9,000 offered again. Adamu tells him to look at the board carefully, and losing any of the big sums means the game's heading for suicide! Some stats from Mark, who quotes the 37.5% chance of hitting the 1p, which is the same for the £100,000.

David says:

DEAL

Adamu reminds me of that meerkat advert. But so funny.

If he was still in live play at five box... hopefully he would have been a good board reader.

Round 5 - proveout

David says he has to be sensible, and he couldn't go home with a blue. Noel says we could have a proper Spanking here.

Box 7 with newbie Carla - 1p

No wonder there was a big groan, says Noel.

Box 10 with Natalie - £50

No, says Noel. He reminds us that the Banker said David needed two good rounds to get big money.

Box 18 with Kirsti - £250

Banker time...

At least you haven't stated what you usually say... but still, ridiculous.

You had two spectacular rounds, but only one of them was in LIVE play, says Noel. The Banker says he can't believe it.

Banker's offer would've been:

£22,000

He probably would have dealt there.

Round 6 - proveout

Please have a disastrous round, says Noel. David says he would've gone back to his lucky numbers.

Box 13 with Pat - £3,000

Box 20 with Jason - £10,000

Amazing, says Noel. Don't find the £750, says Noel.

Box 8 with Hazel - £750

Banker time with £50,000 and £100,000 remaining. :(

Noel says he's not trying to make David feel worse, but the game would've turned around spectacularly.

Banker's offer would've been:

£71,000

Noel reveals £100,000 in David's Box 17. :(

Then you could have had your dream wedding... paid off ALL your debts (possibly)

Box 1 with Jake contains the £50,000.

Noel says this is particularly painful because of David's honest and modest ambitions. David says he didn't have enough faith, but he and his fiancee can easily get married on £9,000. :D

The Banker says he has a huge amount of respect for David because of his honesty, and says he is giving him the 10 lollies for his daughter! :D

One of the most brain-dead deals I've ever seen. Even I would have played on after that £9,000 offer.

Is this the new 'Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear' ?

If so, just stop it.
