22 Boxes.

A quarter of a million pounds.

Just one question.*

Welcome to Channel 4's DEAL OR NO DEAL.

The announcer must of known I was commentating today as he said "for those of you playing Noel's shirt watch" and that's exactly what I intend to do.

Noel shuts up the pilgrims and has a serious announcement to make. He's formally apologising for the dancing yesterday which I'm glad I didn't witness. Oh no... a replay. Argh.

Anyway, Noel's shirt. A very fetching colourful stripey effort.

Names.... It's Tommy. But you knew that as it says in the thread title.

* False. "Do you have a system?", "Are you ready for the question?", "Swap or no Swap?" are just 3 examples of questions on top of the standard "Deal or No Deal".

Tommy has THE DEATH BOX.

He owns a car rental firm and apparantly lost one. I assume they're on about a car here and not the firm. Oh, it was a car. And it wasn't actually missing as it was just a paperwork error.

Banker: Worst anecdote ever.

I agree.

Tommy is wearing underwear which is "a bit like superman". Hopefully we don't get to see it.

Photos time. I can't think of anything interesting to say about them.

Tommy has a good luck card from his god daughter with the DEATH BOX on the front of it. Spooky. And it predicts £20,000 in the box.

Let's play DEAL OR NO DEAL.

WOW !

That means there is a exactly... hold on... 1 in 22 chance of him having it again.

:D

Round One

Box 13 is being kept. Noel makes a note. Box 4 is being kept. As is box 8. And 19. And 9. One does wonder how we can finish the game without opening these boxes at some point.

3 - Ben - 50p

7 - Mark - £35,000

Mark on here points out he had £35,000 yesterday. Mark in there proves he won't have it today.

Deepa recalls how it took 2 hours to make a cup of tea.

Banker: New worst anecdote ever.

I agree.

15 - Deepa - £5,000

21 - Pat - Scary Laugh - 10p

Oh dear, Chan is giving a story. We know what's coming.

Banker: New worst anecdote ever.

17 - Chan - £10

Not a bad opening round all things considered.

Noel thinks this will be a good battle if we get the right boxes.

Come back for more mind numbingly ghastly stories from our players.

Meanwhile, i'll review the adverts again.

Advert #1 - Boring car advert. 0/5

Advert #2 - Comedy guy. Ronnie something. He's delivering food to an old woman. lol, microwave food. Looks awful. Did like the mention of the COLOUR brochure. Maybe that's a novelty to old people. 1/5

Advert #3 - Different rooms in a house. Not entirely sure what's going on. Colourful enough. 3/5

Advert #4 - Building society. Dull. 0/5

Advert #5 - Oh god. Mince pies. DOG. Oh no! All the pies are gone! That's good. But there was another shot of the oh so cute dog. -2/5

Will not make joke of the newbie's name...

Oh, the Banker has beaten me to it. ''Stiff competition'' indeed...

Let's continue.

Round Two

Noel apologies to Adamu for pronouncing his name wrong. He gets newbie Hardik to pronounce his own name.

And funnily enough...

1 - Hardick - 20p

"Good luck Tommy, I hope it's a blue!"

14 - Natalie - £250,000

Nicely done.

20 - Hazel - £750

The banker thanks Natalie.

And it shows replays of the box opening. Is this something new? Seems a bit pointless to me.

Adamu is dressed nicely but the banker says he didn't look so refined last night when he enjoyed a lady sandwich.

Adamu says he was socialisng and networking.

Banker's offer:

£7,000

Adamu had a choice of getting between Natalie and Charlotte. But he chose Jo and Hazel instead.

Awful break link. The banker rings to say it was the worst one ever.

And NOW it's the break!

''Worst anecdote ever''.

''Worst throw (to the break) ever''.

The Banker has clearly been reading Skyline and BankerSpanker's posts.

:D

Noel recalls the stories, though he can't remember what Chan's was.

Let's open the last box.

Or not. He's asking everyone what they ad yesterday.

10 - Sue - £75,000

Well, that worked.
