We're back...

Round 4

Noel says we're feeling very positive.

Box 6 with Win - £1

Can't have a better start than that, says Noel. He says this could be one of the more spectacular turnarounds in years.

Box 11 with Kirsti - £20,000

It's the next box that gives us the significance of that, says Noel.

Box 5 with Marc - £75,000

Banker time...

It's basically Geordie's 8-box board with £1k and better blues... and it's £483 less. Not enough in my book.

37.5%, not 40%, Charlie :)

That shows us the significance of the £20,000, says Noel. Now it's a one box game, he says. The Banker says Carrie now has one huge sum, and just one safety net.

Banker's offer:

£4,517

Why do I get the feeling that this game, like the 426 that preceded it, will end in failure? They all seem to these days.

I think I'd go on here but it's a tough board.

Marc is indeed correct, 37.5% of taking out the £100,000.

Glad the Banker hasn't phoned up to discourage her by claiming it to be a 300% chance or what have you...

Carrie's boyfriend says it's a good offer. Charlie says it about a 40% chance of hitting the £100,000; Marc corrects him by saying it's 37.5%. Tommy says Carrie would need an all-blue round to get a better offer. Carrie says this is one of the toughest boards she's seen for a while. Noel says Carrie could do a lot with £4,517, but she'll never get to play again, so it's a tough decision.

Carrie says:

NO DEAL

And this is where the shiznit hits the fan, ladies and gentlemen. If the 100K goes, it's basically over.

Round 5

Noel says Carrie wants to do this for her son Marty, who will be proud of her regardless of what happens.

Box 9 with Deepa - £1,000

Box 10 with Hazel - £100,000 :(

Noel feels sorry for both player and box opener. However, there is still £15,000, he says.

Box 21 with Natalie - £100

Banker time...

You can still recover something out of this, says Noel. The Banker says Marc was right with his odds on the £100,000 going.

Banker's offer:

£1,017

Yep, she's frunked now. Her own fault.
Like I said, this is not going to end well. And in the event that I'm wrong, I will pay everyone here a single cent.

Carrie's boyfriend says she should go for it; he would go for it, but it's not hit money. The Banker says he is touched by Carrie's son Marty's story, so Carrie can play the final round one box at a time.

Noel says Carrie has left us in no doubt how much the money means to her.

Carrie says:

NO DEAL

One box at a time on this low stakes board is rather damn pointless.

Pointless I tell ya'.
