Right, it's Friday, the end of the working week and indeed, the penultimate show left to be aired from before the lengthy summer break. What will be in store ? Gameshow gold ? Or the biggest embarrasment of the afternoon ?...

Well, let's just say, I've not long ago just witnessed two teengers on the bus looking at a picture of the map, not being able to locate Asia properly and refusing to believe that China was located there. If this game tops that as a complete failure, then it will be *QUITE* a monumental achievement.

Right, show time ! Edmonds is coming over all cheerful and for good reason, as Sheri achieved a £24,000 OPW yesterday, hopefully airbrushing the nightmare of Jean's game on Wednesday. Sheri is being described as ''clearly not a risk-taker'' and did quite well to decline £15,000 and £12,000 to achieve the max in the game.

''Be yourself, as being yourself - can get you a huge amount of money''

Who will be himself today ?

It's DEAN

Dean Brown is from Kingston-upon-Hull.

He is now a digital and screen printer, but used to be a bus driver for a few years. He once drove a bus full of passengers to his own house after getting confused (that wasn't actually said then, but said so often on the wings that I've all but memorised it). A customary picture of the children now, Jodie (12) and Michael (15) being depicted. Edmonds outs himself as a health and safety freak.

Hey, here we go !

Two numbers, 4 and 18, are being kept for now. Special numbers you see.

First out of the baton is Sam. Did he pull last night ?

No response.

(Box 7) - £5

'Giggly' Emma up next with Box 9 - 10p

Jo now and she heaps some praise upon Dean, 'love him as me son you know' (Box 17) - £75,000

Teresa (Box 3) - £100

Zeni (Box 11) - £20,000

The Banker has Dean down as an ''incredibly realistic reader of the board and realists hardly ever leave with a blue''.

This is reflected in the offer of £7,000.

Dean has always had a dream of taking his kids on the ferry. He says he's scared of flying and gives totally understandable reasons for it. But, it's a ''NO DEAL''.

''A very warm welcome back to Dean's game'' !

Oh, HERE comes the story of the 'bus drive hime' incident. Getting its 457th airing there.

'Smiling' David (Box 13) - £1

Dean has a pet Sanke called 'Snaky'. Magical.

Richie has had some big numbers. What does this mean ?...

...nothing at all. So, Dean is going for it... oh, he's not.

Versila (Box 15) - £10

Laura next, she has a lizard called 'Lizzy'. Thin Lizzy ? I hope so, that'd be cool

(Box 1) - £1,000

More talk about the bus incident from the Banker. That good round means...

£11,500

Dean says it's good money. Richie says that there is another round, keeping it simple as Dean ''doesn't understand the statistics he keeps mentioning''.

NO DEAL

Ah, they appear to have permanently moved the second break to the start of the 3rd round.

Think I like that better actually.

We're back, time for Round 3 !

Mahmoud (Box 19) - £750

Mick (Box 21) - £5,000

Win (Box 20) - £50,000

The offer is £12,750.

Some generic rubbish from David. ''If you had took them bottom amounts out by now, you'd definitely hit those bigger amounts as a result''. Or something like that.

Dean talks about what he wants to do with the money, but as it stands, it's ''NO DEAL''.

Mev (Box 10) - £500

Ah, they're ridiculing David's advice. Good play.

Smithy (Box 2) - £10,000

Betty (Box 16) - £250,000 :( :(

WOW, that was an incredibly irritating hit.

A decent offer seeing as the £250,000 went.

''Be very careful, Dean. You lose that £100,000 and you're almost certainly going to the end''.

£6,500

More statistical advice from Richie whilst Tommy gives us the optimism of what would happen if an all blue round was achieved.

Oh, the Banker playing mind games (in relation to Dean's desire to take his children on a ferry). I don't need to reiterate much of it, you know what I mean if you've seen enough shows.

The Banker makes it worse by playing some music by 'Bryan Ferry'... and is giving him a Bryan Ferry CD as part of the offer. I recommend 'Let's Stick Toegther'.

Dean decides to ''DEAL''.

I always hate it when the player deals after the £250k going. £6,500 was a DEFEATIST deal!
I really don't care for the CD, that would go straight on eBay! :P

Looking at time left, it could be the correct choice...
