Nick's game today.

Noel says the show is amazing as it is random, but there are often runs. He says we are in an era of players getting their timing wrong. He wants today's player to make the right call. (Don't we all! )

Hopefully the cautious players have been and gone... (for now at least).

Nick has Box 3 today.

Nicholas Clark is from Ilminster in Somerset, and is a self employed carpenter. He tells of how he burnt his arm at work, and had to have a skin graft; he shows us his wound. His fiancee and sister are in the audience for support, and he has a photo of his with his family.

That's a ghastly opening round, says Noel. The Banker laughs down the phone; Noel rejects a cheesy nibble yet again.

The offer reflects some of Nick's skin flaking off when he showed his wound.

Nick says that's a good offer considering most of the blues are still there. Noel mentions that Nick wants to marry his fiancee.

You can do this, says Noel. He says it's very rare for a game to be a complete disaster; he says about 10 games come under that category. Barbara says Nick has £100,000 in his box.

Box 8 with Andy - £1,000

What's with you and reds, says Noel.

Box 20 with Skevy - £10,000

At least the reds remaining are all from the Power 5, says Noel.

Box 15 with John - £50

The Banker says that wasn't a disastrous round, but it wasn't a great one.

Haven't been done for a while. Usually a break before the last box is open...

Noel says Nick may be tempted to deal, given how bad the game has been.

Noel calls a break before he asks the question...

Hmmm, all 3 boxes opened in the third round before the break

And looking at the time, I think we could be on schedule for a big win

Abysmal offer but when he's had such terrible luck it's to be expected.

This shouldn't be a third round deal... got a very good chance of having a all blue round.

Noel says he has a positive feeling about Nick. Nick says £2,500 would go towards his wedding, but ideally he'd need £5,000 for it. The Banker calls, and says, if Nick has an all-blue round, the next offer will be more than £5,000.
