What was £6,969 about? Sometimes I wonder if the Banker has a dirty mind.

The Banker does indeed have a filthy mind, there were many times in the early years where this was made apparent and most recently with that woefully bad joke with Skevy. Sometimes, it makes for TV cringeworthy to the point where you find yourself considering a Keith Richards move and contemplating chucking the telly out the window.

That's nothing compared to some of stuff that gets said in the Dream Factory that ends up on the cutting room floor (most of the time because Noel knows a conversation won't make the edit so it does get quite risqué some times).

Sensible play today and an OPW in my mind.

A sensible decision by Billy, that would have been vindicated if not for the hyposwap

Did love the way the Banker's Gamble was carefully edited so as to remove the words Banker's gamble. It made the conversation a little incoherent and I wonder what new viewers - those unfamiliar with this particular twist - would have made of it

Regular viewers would have known from Noels chat with Billy before he picked up phone for final offer what was coming.

Incidentally, when is the last time a pilgrim was thrown out by Noel "on screen" for sarcastic comment. I'd be amazed if there hasn't been any off screen eviction of pilgrims.

Couldn't tell you the last one, but the one I remember most was the first time that happened, Sandra's game in April 2006. It wasn't really a sarcastic comment, but a student (there were heaps of them back in the early days) who completely misunderstood the rules (advocating a 'deal' because 'there's more to play at'... )
