This current crop don't deserve to win big, is anyone surprised they are missing out on big money given the advice they have been dishing out!

I think they might need to start picking some different players. You can't blame the contestants themselves for being cautious, especially as they don't seem to be trying to fool anyone that they are indeed gamblers, but the prodcution team for actually choosing them in the first place. :)

Payout this week by the Banker: £85,000

It all players got the timing right this week, over £600,000 would have been paid out.

Most interesting game and decent one this week, Alice.

Only because she was lucky enough to have had a blue at the table. :)

There is some decent advice being given, it's just players aren't listening to it.

You know it's a rough game when the thread's six pages long, and the game only ended fifteen minutes ago! ;)

So for the past two weeks the Banker has paid out £147,000 where as he has saved himself a fortune as it would have been around £1 million or just close to that.

New week tomorrow so really hoping we see players get the timing exactly right.

Also, more people tend to be able to post live during the game on a Sunday when most people aren't working.

I can't be bothered to look into the stats, but this week has to be a record amount saved (or close to it) for the banker in terms of amount dealt at vs peak amount in game.

To be honest, the bank has not been made to sweat in many games this week.

I bet next week players may be braver, but the boxes will be horrendous. :(

For those who had one of the power five, it would have been £624,500... and it would have been the best ever week for the show in terms of total money won.

He's paid out this week £85,000 exactly.

Is it safe to come on here yet?

After Robbie's sound deal was made to look more cautious than it really was, comes an unquestionably cautious decision made to look arguably worse!

Noel went on a lot about how Sue's decision had supposedly been influenced by other games, but I get the impression Sue had a figure in her head that she'd be happy with, and was unwilling to gamble further than that. Even with the strong board she had, all she could focus on were the offers. Success on DOND owes a lot to luck, but some players rely more on luck than others - none more so than those who choose to ignore key game elements such as the board (which Sue did, to an extent) or the offers (which certain people around these parts do - they'd have been lucky for much of this week, but would have had a lot of crash & burning in September).

I hereby declare all contestants who played this week as complete and total fools.
You may all now proceed to hurl an infinite number of insults my way as a result of this assessment.

I won't insult you but all I'll say is they're not fools, merely cautious players. If they'd all had low amounts in their boxes which they'd sold for good profits, you'd be calling them all very clever. :)

They were cautious to the point of stupidity, especially that Josh character. He gets absolutely no respect from me for what he did. Absolutely atrocious and unforgivable. Definitely one of the top 10 worst deals - and contestants - of all time.

And now I remember why I suddenly lost complete interest in the show in the first place. Robbie's cautious advice is still felt among the current contestants, even after he's played his game. Chalk this one up to The Banker who used it to his advantage and cost the player the jackpot.
