The last box saved the marriage says the Banker

Banker's offer would've been:

£3,000? That is a shocking offer even though she took out the £250k! :o
I'm pretty sure she would never have dealt that.

Well, Francis saved her from 10p even though he did interfere.

Exactly how could she have got 'more mega money'? All the offers that followed were much lower than the one she took.

Did you want her to choose different boxes?

I enjoyed today's game. Unlike yesterday, you were never sure what Alice was going to do at 11-box and 8-box and the musical tension made it seem that she might have no dealt the 8-box offer.

No disgrace in taking that offer. Probably looking at £26k for the 36% chance of keeping the top 2 to 5-box, a stick for hitting the £75k and a joke offer for hitting the QM.

He says that anytime someone deals with 2 or more of the power 5 in play.

If her husband was deemed as interfering, what the other 21 people that Alice had only known for 2 weeks doing? If I hear one more person at 11-box talk about taking the top 3 out (a 1 in 165 chance), I think I might scream.

You're right of course - if only she'd dealt the 3rd offer :-D

Like Skevy Alice left the game one round too late, but at least managed to avoid going home with a blue. Just as well her husband was in the audience really or she might have crashed and burned

It's extremely annoying. Not just that, but it's always the same spiel to back it up - ''take them out, NEVER see that offer again'' - nothing like stating the bloody obvious to help a player make a decision. Extraordinary.

The comments from the wings are sometimes useful. If to confirm what a player is already thinking.

However I'm sure we rememeber of times of people in the wings giving it the "You know my thoughts, while there's two of the power five left in the game I would go on to the end" when asked for advice.

When they are in the chair however its a different story and given an offer of the govenor or above in the the same scenario its "Sorry guys, but thats a lot of money to me, DEAL".
