September always seems to be a pretty dodgy month for the show

Full credit to Veronica there, she really seemed to be enjoying her game, which was a pleasant change after the last few players looking stressed out for the majority of the show!

A shame that the first 8-box gamble we've had for a few shows doesn't pay off, but at least it was only on a marginal call rather than either someone being forced on or turning down a generous offer to make a point.

I also loved it when she put everyone in their place with the 5 and 2-box offers, after a round of boos she turned around and said "Actually, that could do a lot for us" and rattled off a list of things! At least we know she's definitely going to enjoy every penny of that £250!

I wonder if Noel's going to reference the car story in today's intro - I think the banker may have news for him...

If people don't bring big money to the table, unless they have boards where they keep a lot of big money late in the game and then deal, they aren't going to win huge amounts.

Today wasn't one of those games.
