Why would you deal SO EARLY with the £250,000 still there?! Especially as it's £200 under the lowest the Banker has paid for it.

Because she isn't brave enough to even try for just one more round, before dealing... looking at the time left, it could work out right for her.

We're back...

Round 4 - proveout

Noel talks about Katie Chipchase, who is currently the show's biggest loser after selling the £250,000 for £8,000, and how Carole could usurp her position.

Box 3 with Mo - £5

Box 15 with Josh - £100

Don't do an all-blue round now, says Noel.

Box 20 with Zara - £5,000

Banker time...

This offer should be somewhere near double the offer.

That was a really good round actually, says Noel. The Banker says he wants to send Carole into the Hall of Fame.

Banker's offer would've been:

£15,000

Round 5 - proveout

Box 13 with Veronica - £10

Oh no, says Noel.

Box 21 with Ben - £750

Oh what, says Noel. Since you dealt, we've had a sensational run of boxes, he says. The Banker calls, and says, if the next box is blue, the next offer would've be £40,000.

Box 14 with Ollie - £250,000 :D

Banker time...

The Banker says what Ollie said to Carole before opening his box was so genuine, it has annoyed him, and he throws him out!

Banker's offer would've been:

£5,000

Box 8 with Haley contains the 50p.

Carole says she really thought she'd made a mistake there. Noel lets Ollie back into the studio. He repeats his remark that paying £1 to go on Carole's tour would be money worthwhile. Carole says the money will do lots for her, and she's ecstatic. :D

I could tell by Carole's reaction to the first offer of £5k - similar to Aleks' reaction to her first offer - that she wasn't going to be a big gambler, and so it wasn't too surprising when she dealt at 11-box. Carole was probably a little too worried about losing the £250k in the following round - although to be fair if she had, the next offer probably would have pushed her on with no guarantee of a better 5-box offer.

There was a lot of annoying things going on in that game - Noel's ridiculous prattling on about Routemaster buses (what the hell was that about?!), the banker ringing up to forward-announce a ridiculously inflated proveout offer, a contestant getting thrown out for a stupid reason - thankfully Ollie's revealing of the £250k, then later being allowed back in by Noel, prevented things getting really ugly.

4 games in a row with a deal made before 5-box then, but to be fair the boards have all been quite precarious with the player mainly having to play what Noel calls 'miss the money' to get much more.

Great to see a contestant so local :smt023

I love Conwy, I'm there quite a lot as it's only a few miles down the road... but I can't say I've ever seen Carole, so will keep my eyes peeled next time I'm there.

The £40,000 potential offer was just ridiculous... it would have no more than £30-33,000. And way to go Noel, for once again mentioning Katie Chipchase, who Carole, nor this crop of contestants know ANYTHING about.

Why do I instantly think of our permanently enraged chums Mark and BankerSpanker whenever a 3rd offer is ever dared to be accepted ?

Yeah, how would she know about Katie Chipchase if Carole WASN'T THERE for her game at all?
I wish he'd quit mentioning her now.

She dealt at £8,000 and had the £250,000 in her box.

Has anyone seen the comments on Facebook? Wow, these people are dumb.

It's possible that the details of key games from past contestants could get passed on through sets of wing contestants so that they might get to know about them (unlikely but possible).

The Banker really can't see to catch a break at the moment. Yet ANOTHER cautious deal with a low amount on the table.

When a player's going to be very defensive on a dangerous board, at least it makes a change to see them do so at 11-box rather than going on and then taking an inferior 8-box offer.

A frustrating game in some ways but far from the lowest Deal made on such a configuration (that was and will always be Beryl's £3,100 at 11-box with £250k and very little else in play). Interesting that the Banker was trailing the 5-box hypothetical offer at the squashdown - is that a first? He's phoned up at 3-box to talk up the potential 2-box hypothetical offer before, but I can't remember him doing this at this stage.

"He would've phoned at this point." Yeah right Noel, why would he ring at 6-BOX?
