Ady gets some advice from some of the wingers. He runs through what the remaining boxes mean to him; they are mostly football player numbers. He says, when he got the call offering him a place on the show, he immediately thought of a figure, and £17,000 is very close to him. He says, if you take out all the blues to start with, you'll start taking out big sums eventually.

Ady says:

DEAL

Noel says Ady has exhibited lots of self discipline, and many people will think he's mad for walking away from a board like that.

Noel calls a break...

 VERY cautious deal

Lots of time left so I assume there's going to be a twist coming up

Not really? 10 minutes left and 3 prove-out rounds to do...

That is just nonsense, it was a generous stick after taking the £100K and £15K.

We're back...

Round 4 - proveout

Noel says Ady said before the break that you can have too strong a start. Ady says he's never been sensible before.

Box 7 with Eleanor - £250

The wrong £250, says Noel. Don't find the other two blues, says Noel.

Box 2 with Simon - £35,000

Box 16 with Haley - £3,000

Banker time...

Nah, it was a pretty poor offer. Very stable board. I'd be wanting £25k+ there.

Well pitched by the banker it has to be said.

Nope, that wasn't enough, says Noel. The Banker says he thinks Ady made the right decision for himself, even though he could've had more.

Banker's offer would've been:

£26,000

It is not relevant what you would have wanted because you are not in the chair. The banker gives an offer relating to the player, and you cannot possibly say it is a rubbish offer when it bought him.

If he was still in play at five box, with just one blue there, hopefully he would have seen the chances are great of having a red.

This should be somewhere near the £40,000 mark.

Round 5 - proveout

You've not neseccarily done the wrong thing yet, says Noel.

Box 22 with Mike - £5,000

Box 11 with Theo - 10p

Now, this is shaping up to be a 5-box people dream about, says Noel.

Box 14 with Mark - £10,000

Banker time...

That's why I said it was well pitched by the banker. It worked for the player playing.

Mine, and others, comment was referring to what WE consider good offers.

The fact of the matter is that mathematically that was a poor offer. Just in this case the player did not recognise it/was unwilling to risk £17k.

It is not the chance of having a red that matters but the chance of having a mega red.

The Banker laughs down the phone!

Banker's offer would've been:

£44,000

But you cannot base your evaluation of the offer only the board when the banker bases the offers on the player also.

Round 6 - proveout

Please proven you weren't going to win one of the Power 5, says Noel.

Box 19 with newbie Veronica - £50,000

That doesn't prove anything, says Noel.

Box 9 with Stan - £75,000

That's better, says Noel, now you must find it.

Box 10 with Calvert - £1

Banker time with £1,000 and £250,000 remaining.

More laughter from the Banker.

Banker's offer would've been:

£71,000
