The fact that he was crying and asked for a sweep at round 3 with an amount of money that's hardly mind blowing does infact suggest a cautious player

Exactly... well said :smt023

He's found all the offers hard so far...

Maybe the amount of money is not mind blowing to you but means that much to him, valuing the money and being cautious are not the same thing.

You can hardly criticise that, it just shows the money means so much to him.

There's nothing wrong with being a cautious player, at all. Not everyone is going to be a huge gambler, like Nong, or Dale.

For that teaser trailer, I can sense it's for today's show...

Exactly, especially when the board is precarious like this one.

That was an amazing round says Noel, and he tells Paul to keep breathing. The Banker knows that Paul declining the £8,000 was a big step for him.

Banker's offer:

£12,500

Decent enough offer, but I was expecting £13,000.

That's not too bad. A deal here would be perfectly reasonable.

Don't get me wrong £8000 is a decent amount of money, more than I've ever had but if I had waited that long to get on the show I wouldn't ruin it for myself by having an hour long panic attack at the prospect of losing a few grand.

Looks like your expectations are too high then, bear in mind that it is a one-box game in terms of the mega money.

Decent offer but it is tricky because of the HUGE GAP between £15k and £250k.

I also get annoyed at the contestants on the wings, always the same, 8 box, "ooh be careful, if you take out the big one you'll be chasing the game" change the record, more often than not they talk the player out of carrying on.

Viv tells Paul that if he takes out the £250,000 he will be chasing the money all the way. Noel says Paul needs to look at if he had a bad round would the offer go down as much as it would go up if he had a good round. Scott says he is shocked that it is taking Paul so long to make his mind up after all the advice he has given on the wings. Paul says because the £250,000 is there it makes you think you can go just one more round.

Paul says

DEAL

Like yesterday, a sensible call, no matter what happens next.

Won't be however if the £250,000 is in the box.
