Paul's game today.

Noel says we are almost there, with 2 shows to go to the 2000th show. He talks about Amy's game yesterday where she had a little glint in her eye, and kept the £250,000 til late in her game, but the extraordinary thing was the pilgrims near the end urging Amy to deal for £20,000, and she did and it proved the right thing to do.

Paul has box 19 today.

Paul is a self-employed carpenter and builder, and used to play lots of rugby, even playing for the Wales B team and travelling the world. We get to see a photo of Paul's daughter, and Paul says he swtiched photos of the one that she wanted him to bring along. Paul has his wife and brother-in-law in the audience for support.

Here we go...

Apart from the £100,000, that's a pretty good start!

The Banker says that they always thought it would be impossible to get to the 2000th show without a man winning the £250,000, and Paul being Welsh could change that.

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Paul says

Noel didn't seem too pleased when he mentioned wanting to take the first offer.

I hope Paul makes his own decisions, and doesn't allow Noel to make them for him.

I'm sure Noel does not want a first offer deal to happen...(same goes with with second one).

That was a very different round says the Banker, and there is now a very different atmosphere in the studio. He says to look at Ady, he always looks gormless but happy!

Banker's offer:

Stop making assumptions, when there is nothing to support your statements.

Paul's wife says that it is a very good offer. The Banker says that Paul should take this offer as if the £250,000 goes he will have to play all the way to the end to get some decent money out of this game. Paul asks for a vote of who would deal, no one puts up their hand, the Banker calls and says he has his hand up.

Paul says

NO DEAL

He didn't seem very comfortable with that decision.
