Round 6 - proveout round

Box 5 with Mike - £35,000

That's a step in the right direction, says Noel.

Box 22 with John - £250,000 :D

That'll make you feel better, says Noel, but you're not off the hook.

Box 19 with Milli - £75,000 :D

Banker time with £500 and £3,000 remaining.

Again I'd be playing on here, but I'm in a position where my utility curve takes longer to flatten out than that of the average contestant because I don't have any of the compelling reasons to have a sub-£20k inflection point.

And look where that would have got me. :P

Only missed out on £8k, I don't think she'll really care about that. :)

Not a rubbish offer at all, just your judgement that is rubbish.

Not enough!

Hopefully with ONE blue and FOUR reds at five box she would have continued in live play, but knowing her... she probably wouldn't have done.

Only she has herself to blame for not getting more money at five box.

Although there were four reds and one blue, there were three mega amounts and two relatively small amounts and that is what matters. We have just seen the nightmare round which would have happened if she went on.

The Banker congratulates Emma, and says he will let her have the tissues for free!

Banker's offer would've been:

£1,500

Emma says she's glad she dealt when she did, as she'd have no dealt at 5-box.

Noel reveals £3,000 in Emma's Box 15.

Box 21 with Agnes contains the £500.

Noel says he had no idea Emma would get so emotional. Emma says £22,000 will do everything for her! :D

Does the Banker really charge for tissues? With the cold I've had the past few weeks I'd owe him a fortune!
I've gone through about 200 in a week!

Wow, that could have been a huge regret if she would have gone on at 5-box, but as it is it'll feel like a spanking!
A good day to be a targetist in the end.

You're saying the offer was rubbish because "you" think it's rubbish. You must remember The Banker applies his offers to whoever is in the chair. He doesn't always look at the board and work out averages. He assess the player. He knows their background and what goes on at the hotel.

Had it been you in that same chair then the offer could be higher than Emma's. Also if you ever say the offers are rubbish then The Banker will force you to play on by lowering them.

Having seen at the start what Emma's surname was, I'm just SO relieved she didn't have a huge sum in her box given some of the insults she could have got. :)

(And also glad to see from her profile on the main site that I'm not the only one who eats dry cereal)!

We needed that after yesterday's game. Offers on the low side for my liking but good banker play again. Thankfully, she hit the 10% perfect round to get the OPW.

I'm going to miss Emma on the wings, what a beautiful young lady she is.

An interesting and enjoyable game, I felt her anguish over the 8 box offer and while I would have wanted more myself, I don't blame her for taking it. It was cleverly pitched and the board could have gone either way.

However like Emma had i found myself at 5 box with that configuration I don't think i could have walked away. To lose out on £8k is bearable, to miss out on £27k is far far worse
