Only she has herself to blame for not getting the £250,000... but she may have dealt at the two box offer... but with what she said about the £3,000 that she would be happy with it.

If only someone had told her it was very much worth another round...

She BLEW it BIG time......................

Yes it was worth another round and she could have had more money but going to the end would have been a reckless gamble, so in that respect she did not really blow the chances of getting the £250K.

Oh dear. Tough to describe that apart from just cautious and unlucky.

Don't beat yourself up??? Come on Noel, if you lost £223k in 47 secs you might cry as well!

Poor strength on behalf of the player again, poor communications from the others... just got to play the boxes not the advice

Way to SQUANDER that opportunity! :smt011
£27,500 was such a POOR offer for an ALL RED 5-box. :smt019

I can see the comments on Facebook now. Oh gosh...

You really cannot call it a poor offer since it got her out and that is what the banker wants, to buy the box for the least amount of money.

Two things about comments above make me realise how far some posters are from reality. She DIDNT lose £222,500. She lost THE CHANCE to gamble for that. What she DID do was WIN £27500 she didnt have when the game started.

She could have had more, but at the time she took the deal, she knew that no more than any of you lot did.

Well, it was almost as if she was pressured into dealing. And once again, it cost a player to walk away with the jackpot.

I can assure you she was in NO WAY pressured into dealing. However editing can shorten sequences and make it appear that way. She had lots of thinking time herself and came to her own conclusion.

Well, on the subject of reckless gambling, I think Laura, Alice, Suzanne and Tegan would disagree with that.

Well said... could have had a lot more and have been number five. It seems she didn't see that the offer for that board was rubbish.

I'm sure the other 21, (well most of them) would have tried their luck and go another round.

But it was not rubbish because it got her out, and that is what the offers are made to do.

Well she had a "feeling!" which sadly didn't pay off.

agreed. any offer that gets the player out is a good offer as far as the banker os concerned! He normally only goes low if he knows the player will take it. Lots of players talk about offers in terms of their salary etc, and as soon as they do that the banker lowers future offers.

Because feelings are just useless things to go by, the same as saving boxes that commemorate the death of a grandmothers hamster are!

This is the very first time the 1p has come to the table followed the next game by the £250k, though the reverse (£250k then 1p) has happened 6 times , most recently in Oli and Bobby's games.

Agree except for the word sadly, I feel no sympathy for money chasers like her.
