James says there's a lot of psychology in the game and it's not just about picking boxes. Noel wonders whether it's easier to play after a game where the player missed an opportunity, or after a game where the luck was never there. James says it has more impact that Pauline missed out on a lot of money. He asks Delroy, who says there's another round in it. Stine says there are a lot of blues that he can hit.

The banker rings and says he agrees with James that the game is psychological, and he makes a new offer.

Banker's offer:

£16,000

Noel talks about how Pauline's game is on James's mind, and it's affected the banker's thinking too. Delroy asks whether that money could sort James out, and whether he should go for the gamble.

James says

NO DEAL

Almost a 50/50 chance of not hitting one of the top 2. Do that and the offer will fall and you then have to keep the other one in play to 5-box to get close to £17k (assuming you don't also take out all the red backups)

Wouldn't be the worse deal here.

I hope he didn't feel under pressure to do that.

This will most likely be £20,000 of which he probably will deal. But hopefully he has the belief that the ending of Friday's game will happen again today.

The banker says this game is a funfair ride. Noel asks James if there's a ride called "The Governor"!

Banker's offer:

£26,000

Hopefully the £26,000 won't work... but knowing the way he hes been thinking about the offers... it probably will.

The Governor?! That is a very decent offer. I'd most likely be gone there.

Noel says James still has the top 2 on the board, and James's girlfriend tells him to think about the offer as he could knock the top 2 out. The banker rings and says James is a good board-reader, and he says the board is slightly weaker than Pauline's was at this stage. James says he's worried about the jump from £100k to £20k.

James says

DEAL

Hopefully he didn't deal because of what his partner said. I've a feeling it's one round too soon.

That's the most I've cheered a deal in ages.

I was getting fed up of the comparisons with Pauline's game. Hopefully, the proveout will be favourable, or Noel will not be quiet for weeks.

I have to say that was such a TRICKY decision! I might've gone myself.
There's only 15 minutes left so it could be a spanking.
