If I'm completley and utterly honest, I found Fred seriously annoiyng in the wings. But after watching his game, I no longer class him as annoying, but a nice, kind and caring man who is clearly living life to the full and helping others to do the same.

Well done Fred you made me smile.

Wow, by the sounds of it this game literally aired almost completely "as live". And the 8-box decision was one of those where you have to gamble if you're prepared to go away with a blue, but you have to be prepared to go away with a blue if you're going to gamble. He wasn't, he didn't, he would have gone away with a blue. An OPW for an entertaining player, can't ask for a great deal more than that.

That's surprising - guess Fred knew his own mind and although a cautious deal, it turned out to be perfectly timed.

I'm always a bit wary when there's a 'charector' playing the game because their personality can overwhelm the game but Fred was a lot more focused than i would have expected. Full of life and energy yes, but he knew what he was doing and while that deal may have been cautious, like Katie the board was stacked against him.

It turned out to be the right deal at the right time and you can't ask for better than that.

By the way was I the only one who spent the first 15 minutes of the game wondering why the hell there was a clown on the East wing

If Fred seemed resentful about paying tax (as Noel seemed to imply), I can only wonder what a certain Harry made of it...

I had no idea what to make of Fred's game beforehand. His box openings always seemed really dragged out, even after he'd worked out what end of the box he had to open! However, during his game it became clear there was a big heart and good intentions underneath that crazy persona and the boxes were just kind enough to enable him to get out with a respectable sum. Enjoy the money Fred.

Was that Imani from earlier this year? If so, it felt like nearly 3 hours had passed watching it on the telly too...
