Because most people base their enjoyment of a game on how entertained they were by it, not how much they won, or how much they could have won. People like or dislike shows based on the personality of the contestant, hence why Tony (who got the vintage champagne) was so popular despite his game being a disaster. Other times you get in.credibly dull games despite being OPWs

Moving on to another topic, I remember how astonished we were at Eugenia have eight reds in a row, but that's nothing compared to Li Ping's FOURTEEN reds in a row! That must be pretty close to the record, if not the record.
