We're back...

Noel says Carl told him he was going to go on, but changed his mind at the last minute.

Round 5 - proveout round

Box 7 with Craig - £3,000

We don't want that, says Noel.

Box 2 with Bob - £35,000

Box 18 with Martin - 10p

Banker time...

Ooh, says Noel.

Banker's offer would've been:

£16,500

Hopefully with ONE blue and four reds at five box he would have continued in live play... but knowing the way he played the game so far, he probably wouldn't have done.

There are some cheers, as some think the 10k was the 100k! Carl remembers the dream he had about 105k, which is the sum of what is left!

Banker's offer would've been:

£33,000

Box 16 with Al contains £100,000.

Carl says the money will do a lot for him and his family.

Still no Power 5 on the table! :o

The Banker tweeted that there are 'monster games' ahead.

He used up all his bad luck at the beginning there, that's for sure. Difficult to prepare for "average luck" when you've had one appalling round followed by eight blues and £15k, non-analytical players can struggle with knowing how good or otherwise a board really is when there's big swings like that.

Hopefully someone will say what he meant exactly.

Well, that was a lucky dodge, though the 5 box offer was a little ungenerous.

Even I thought that £12k was a cautious deal today but given the start he had, it's not a bad result.

A case today of again trying to work out what the expected round to 5-box would be and the blue, orange, £35k round was what I had exactly in mind (and which I knew would be enough of an increase for it to be worth the gamble).

Just seen this episode. How many times did Carl shout "Come on!" during the show? I'd say more than 50. I wish blokes would find something more original to say!

Very cautious deal but after that horrendous start - and given the given the games Carl's seen lately - somewhat understandable. I would have said one more round in it but not sure if I would have played to two box.

And again the big money stays away from the table, though that's the highest amount that's come to the table in about 15 games I think
