Mark said he had a nervous feeling about that box. Now, says the Banker, Mark has a board that can change in one box.

Banker's offer:

£16,000

Did think he would have stuck at £16,000. There is another round in it. Hopefully someone will tell him that.

Mark says he'd of instantly asked for the question if he hadn't lost the 75k. He gets some advice from the wings. The Banker says Mark is good at spotting when the offer should stick. He says it is an out-and-out gamble. Dan says the offer will crash if he takes one of the reds. Mark says he'd feel more confident if we'd not had the recent run of bad luck.

Mark says:

DEAL

Hopefully with just ONE blue and four reds at five box, he would have continued in live play...

Not good enough, says Noel. He says Mark was influenced by the games he's seen. The Banker says he could have offered in the high 30s, but the penny drags it down.

Banker's offer would've been:

£29,500

The Banker is very cross with Eugenia!

Banker's offer would've been:

£250

Box 3 with newbie Bob contains £3,000.

Mark says he feels incredible, and then announces that he is about to become a dad for a second time! :D

That £16,000 was a FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still, that amount of money is not to be sniffed at.

Well I would have said there was one more round in it but I can understand why Mark felt he had to deal And he did avoid a nasty crash

Interestingly no-one has bought more than a £3,000 to the table since David on March 1st and it's nearly 3 weeks since a power 5 was on the table

It's the kind of run of boxes brought to the table that must make anyone who tends to go to the end wake up at night in a sweat - we had one around the Xmas shows too.

In a climate where the banker knows he can get people cheap, that was probably a sensible deal given that you know you will need to have against the odds rounds (like the one today) to get a lot more money.
