Lynn's game today.

Noel calls the pilgrims his family today, as freak weather has stopped all the pilgrims arriving at the studio today, so he has brought along his friends and family today to take the place of the pilgrims.

Lynn has box 19 today.

Lynn is a freelance structural engineer from Portsmouth, and she talks about how she originally went to sign up for a beauty course but started chatting to the tutor on the engineering course and signed up for that course instead. Lynn talks about what her job involves. Lynn shows a picture of herself and sisters doing the Great North run, and talks about her late dad. Lynn has her partner in the audience for support, and talks about the rekindled relationship they have.

Here we go...

Is that another barrel-scraping joke of Noel's, I wonder? :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: ;)

Anyway, two days ago James played on only his 18th show, and now Lynn - who had the £250,000 in that game - is playing on her 19th... :eyes: :eyes: ;)

Round 1

Newbie Phyl first, and Noel asks her about being a not very good policewoman, and she says she was hopeless for 5 years!

17 - £250 Newbie Phyl

22 - 50p Martin

13 - £50 Jan

We like this says Noel.

4 - £50,000 Sam

18 - £10 Kelly

Banker time

Well, apart from the 50k, that's a pretty decent start!

When was this episode taped anyway? Was there snow/ice that day?

She had a box yesterday. Hopefully that means she can get an OPW today. :D

That was very nearly sensational says Noel. The Banker tells Noel's family to give themselves a round of applause for fighting their way into the studio today, and the Banker then asks all the DoND team who are in the audience to stand up, and about half the audience stand up.

Banker's offer:

£10,750

I'll be able to provide LIVE Deal-Eye information for this game, and probably some others as well in the next couple of weeks.

£13,747.48 is the benchmark at 17-box.

Lynn says she is tempted by this, but Noel tells her not to deal as the weather is horrible outside and she would be better off to stay in the warm studio for a bit longer.

Lynn says

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

One bad joke to justify one bad bit of influence.

I don't know how tempted Lynn really was there, but Deal-Eye suggests that although playing on would be a good call here, we'd have seen plenty of Deals rather worse than that...

Box 19 is actually one of the best to bring to the table (only 12 is better). On 93 previous appearances its contents has averaged £32,832 compared to only £15,351 in box 13.

There have been plenty of all-blue opening rounds over the years - and I don't think I would say that all of them were sensational... :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: ;)

Yep, that was indeed another barrel-scraping joke of Noel's... and this one rather scraped the barrel, too. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:   ;)

We're back

Lynn talks about applying for the show and how you can't help to think about how you would use any winnings, and how her dreams have changed over time, and now she would like another baby, and possiby move.

Round 2

8 - 1p :D Carlos

7 - £5 Kirsty

Noel says that looks rather splendid.

12 - £3,000 Carly

Banker time

The Banker says there is only one good bit of news for him, and that is that Lynn doesn't want money, just a baby, and offers her 20 minutes outside instead of money!

Banker's offer:

£18,000

Second time in this game that he's said it's looking really good, and the very next box is a red...

Albeit the second-lowest red on this occasion. ;) ;)

Which means it's, uh, still looking rather splendid... :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: ;)

Round 3

6 - £10,000 Damien

Lynn is worried that Noel has jinxed the next box so gets him to spin around 3 times :P

1 - £15,000 Keith

Noel calls another break and gets Lynn to do the link...

Possible five figure offer starting with a 2 if this goes her way.

However, she is taking way too long to pick a box. GET ON WITH IT! :x
