Even if it had, it would have been the wrong decision at the time. Just as no dealing a really strong offer and then having the perfect round wouldn't justify the decision to no deal.

Decisions shouldn't be judged as being right or wrong judged on what happens afterwards but on what was on the board at the time.

My point I think originally was that having no dealt £20k despite the pressure on him to do so it seemed incredibly defeatest of James to quit after one bad round. If he was going to do that he might as well have quit while he was ahead. Alternatively having decided to go on once he might as well have braved it out and gone another round, then at least he would have got out on an ascending offer

Maybe i just don't like the idea of going at the LOWEST offer
