Noel opens Zoe's box 17 and reveals £100

Box 1 with Chris contains the 50p

Well, taking a consolation sum in a game like that was understandable. And it was the right decision too. Good on her!

And at the end the Banker allows Zoe to laugh down the phone at him.

I quite liked that, actually. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: ;) ;)

Well with a cautious attitude like that, it's probably a good job she didn't get a strong board.

She probably took the first (and only) semi-decent offer of the game.

Incredibly that was the top of the game after round 1.

Blimey, what a bizarre game that was

No disrespect to her but I don't think she prepared herself properly for when the really big money went, judging by some of her reactions

That game today for me was bordering on uncomfortable Rob territory when the quarter million went, but I would kind of agree with Simon's description near the end of the game

I think it was fair to say that was a defeatist deal, but in a good way. I definatley don't think she had the energy to go on, and I can't blame her because she had such an awful game.

I think it was pretty obvious when she no dealt the second offer (given that we were 25 minutes into the game) that she would take the £250,000 out in the next round. That was all just horribly unlucky.

If she had kept 10 to the end, then she most probably would have blown the chances of getting the £250,000 if she had swapped.

I liked Zoe - though from my Twitter feed i gather a lot of people found her irritating - and from her attitude in the first part I though we were going to be in for a funny entertaining game. Even the damage she did in the first round didn't really phase me, after all Jess had a bad start on Friday and look how that turned out?

But that was just a continuous train wreck - one bad round after another, even her all blue round was the worst all blue round possible. I can understand how psychologically such unremitting bad luck can be hard to take and why Zoe became so emotional as the game went on, especially the cruel way in which she took out the £250k. And to be honest I have more sympathy for a player who gets emotional like that because they were stripping out the boxes in live play than i would one who cried because they missed out on the top prize. At least she appreciated the money she won

No surprises about the one-box-at-a-time final round and no matter how defeatest the deal it did prove the right thing to do. Which is probably why our beloved Mark is clutching at straws in his attempts to condem her. Strangely quiet after Jess's game weren't you Mark?

exactly, if u have a system, u know it's turned out EXACTLY as u wanted it, no indecision, no regrets, no tough calls and wondering and feeling the massive pressure of a 2 box choice and possibly choosing the wrong one, what a horrible game, gorgeous voice, stunning girl, massively adorable, heartbreaking game, wanted to leap through TV and hug her mid way through, haven't felt that bad for a player in ages, WHY would u not propose to her?? lol

After waiting so long, to have a game that bad, I think I'd cry too, unbelieveable, at least she didnt do what some people do (which irritates me) and just say "oh well im going all the way", without considering the offers, 600 quid is 600 quid, just because u start with 6 figure sums and usually get offered 3 grand upwards in 95/100 games doesnt mean u should just bat away the offers like anything below a grand isnt worth your time, good on her for doing what SHE wanted to do, takes some guts on National TV to not be swayed by the audience or her boyfriend's thought's to gamble, pleased she didnt end up with 50p or something!
