I have to agree, that was a pretty cautios deal. Cautios, but I think it was understandable.

God. If contestant are starting to get slaughtered for not gambling the average on all-or-peanuts then quite frankly this forum is going to the dogs. :(

Well I think we all agree that David missed out on an extra £5k even if we don't agree on how he should have won it. Personally I'd have rather seen him deal at 5 box than play to the end or take the Banker's Gamble. Certainly even without hindsight I felt there was another round in the game when he dealt.

I was half expecting the BG on a £35k /blue finish simply because David mentioned the Cosmic Ordering and if that had been the case I might have urged him to go for it, but for an extra £5k, not worth it IMO

With not much of a big gamble... that was probably the EASY Bankers Gamble of all time.

Surely the easiest BG of all time created our 2nd QM winner (I define it as getting the best odds on my gamble and getting even money on an even money gamble isn't one I would take even at low stakes - if I went to the casino with nothing, won £5k then there's no way at the end of the night I would stick it on odds or evens on the roulette wheel)

It was a cautious deal (and probably not one I would have taken with the low stakes of the game and the absense of many low blues on the board) but there have been far worse decisions made.

Surprised Noel didn't mention his interest in cosmic ordering - perhaps he wants to keep it quiet these days.

Hmm... Seems the spectre of 'stop mentioning' Sidney's game is looming large with strings of cautious deals this week.

Let's hope someone has more luck AND more guts soon!

Seconded.

I think we can safely say that DOND has entered another sticky period - the number of games since Rich's that have produced OPWs could be counted on the fingers of one hand... :( :(
