Would have been a better result if he had played yesterday where a possible £50,000 would have been up for grabs, though he probably would have blown the chances of getting it.

A cautious deal most definitely. But taking a consolation sum when it seems your game is going nowhere is understandable. Good thing it turned out to be the correct choice.

Total capitulation dealing at 19% of the average, having earlier turned down 46%. Possibly the worst deal ever in that regard, though indeed it's understandable given his shell-shocked demeanour.

I wonder what the offer at 7-box could've been had he picked Gabbie then.

Why didn't he Deal £13k or £3k if he wasn't prepared to go home with a blue?

BTW if you want a grand from a gameshow, go play Pointless. Just don't play something where you can win a lot more.

£11,750 was won on Pointless on Monday. Current jackpot is £3k now.

Did any one else notice that the number 8 on Jim's box was upsidown?

I thought the 8 looked weird.

*sighs loudly*

This really is turning out to be one of the Banker's best weeks in ages, isn't it? Image Image :(

It's certainly one he'll remember for a very, very long time - not only is it based around his favourite decade, but it's featured a squandered £100k win, a squandered £250k win, a fortunate narrow TPW, another squandered £100k win and now a painfully defeatist deal and massive TBW.

And out of a possible £479k, the players have won just less than an eighth of that amount - £58.3k... Image Image Image Image

And it was ironic that Jim, unlike the previous four players, played the necklace at 5-box - but at the same time was in the process of wiping out the remaining reds. Image

I guess 5-box isn't always the best time to play the necklace, then... :eyes:

But there's no doubt about this: the forecast for the final special on Sunday is not good. Image Image :(

Sorry James1978, KP, and everyone else... but I'd be strongly tempted to agree with Mark on this occasion. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: ;) ;)

Especially after Darrel's game last year; that was painful to watch.

But come on, lets be optimistic! :) :D
