A STICK after the loss of the £250k?!?!?

I'll say it once again - if the producers are not careful, then there could be a deal before the necklace is played... :? :eyes: ;)

Yes, but the offers were a joke before that.....

Oh, the £12k opening offer was no joke... :eyes: :? ;)

High for an opening offer I'll grant you but after 3 blues and two low reds it wasn't remotely dealable.

Round 6 - proveout

11 - Jess - £50

8 - Dave - £20,000

That's not good enough, says Noel, and he says this could be a complete disaster.

10 - newbie Carlos - £35,000

Banker time with £5 and £100,000 remaining...

The banker talks about how Alex commented earlier that he thinks he has a high red in his box.

Banker's offer:

BANKER'S GAMBLE

OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR...

Should have been a LOT more brave.

Someone should have urged him to carry on.

Should have gone on with what he said about him having a big red in his box.

The Banker gave him a MASSIVE lifeline... which should have been ACCEPTED

Box 7 with Mathew contains the £5

Alex talks about what he'll do with the £21,000.

Didn't entirely expect the BG there... but I knew he wouldn't accept it with that amount of time remaining. :eyes: ;)

And I'm afraid I have to agree with Mark to some extent here... cause, after all, that was a cautious deal. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :?

Not sure if he'd have gone for it on that £5/£100k finish, though... but he'd have surely been offered more than £21k. :eyes: :eyes: ;)

£21k was rubbish, I'd have hoped for a bigger increase than a measly £1k.

Not to mention, Zoe's negativity was annoying me!

While I realise that its Noel's role to cajole the contestant into going right to the end for the sake of keeping the game interesting he really does go a bit OTT these days if they choose to deal early. He barely stops short of calling them cowards! :eyes:

With hindsight, yes, the gamble should have been taken. But 'twas a big drop, so I don't blame him for not taking it.

I'm sure his girlfriend had serious hash words for him when she found out.

Probably said she was proud of him for winning 21k. I would say that.

I'm sure your girfriend would have serious words for you if you played and blew a massive amount from a huge gamble which you won a blue from and would most likely happen. :)

He dealt. Live with it.

Hopefully this year's Love Week will be better than last year's. That was tough to watch, especially Darrel's game. :(

I don't know why The Banker offers his Banker's Gamble these days. Nobody decides to go for it. When was the last time someone actually accepted his offer?
