Carland's game today.

Noel talks about Wendy's sensational game from yesterday. Noel says the Banker will respect any player or beliefs they have and talks how Wendy yesterday went to a psychic who said she would win a large amount from a red box, and that as long as you believe in your belief you can unsettle the Banker.

Carland has box 18.

Carland is from Plymouth and works for Royal Mail. Carland is married to Katie and we see a picture taken from his wedding day in Dartmoor. Noel asks if he's thinking of expanding his family and Carland says that is one of the reasons he's here to get some extra money to help out any with any future kids. Carland has bought along a red packet and explains it is a Chinese tradition which is usually filled with money as a sign of good luck. Carland's friend is in the audience today.

Here we go...

Well, two of those three were best taken out. 8)

A Countdown opening round - one from the top and four small ones :)

Probably going to keep the next one down as well and then come back to standard generosity at 8-box in the hope that it looks better than it is in light of prior stinginess. It's a good tactic.

Nah, not surprising me thinks, considering he took out the £35,000 that round and had already taken out the £250,000.
