Box 7 with Imani contains the £1,000

Irene says she's so grateful she's been on the show and now has £20k!

But would she have swapped at the end? :)

Perhaps you should ask the forum moderators to write a macro that posts that for you when a power 5 amount is in the box?

The five-box offer had to be taken, it was, it's not much of an OBW, I'll take that.

The game wasn't nearly as good as Simon's post-game quote though. And there's precedent with the "banana sandwich" code...

Cannae fault that decision; perfectly sensible. Another wise deal that is only bad in hindsight.

£20,147 had DEAL written all over it! That offer was too good to decline.

Well we'll never know because the swap was never offered.

The swap wouldn't have been guaranteed on that finish anyway.

Only one? ;) ;) ;)

I preferred this game to Helen's, even if Irene wasn't everyone's cup of tea. ;)

BTW, most previous contestants named Irene had bad games - so this one bucked the trend... ;) ;) ;)

Yes because it wasn't a big money blown away game. If it was the £50,000 or higher then it would have been.

I enjoyed that one, though the rather laborious '147' story gave me nasty flashbacks to Wendy's game. Certainly a very sensible deal, and one that can only be regretted with hindsight.

So £35k isn't big money but £50k is? For me they're both large amounts (about 3 and 4 years take home pay respectively)

Maybe he meant it relative to the £20k Deal.
