Awww - well done, Jo, I love these primetime shows in the week! I failed my driving test today and your show really took my mind off it!

Hope you enjoy the money, you were a great contestant and we all felt how much courage it took you to turn down 18k - good job! :-D

And, on a sidenote, box 19 had the 250k!

YEAH! :-D

Congrats on great game Jo, good courageous decision not to deal at £18,000 even though it was such a strong board! :D

That's the amount Suzanne won last week. Perhaps that's who you were thinking about?

Fantastic game - I loved Jo (and I know I say that about all of them, but we're talking close to Sarah levels of love here), and you could tell how much the £18k meant to her, so I was so glad that turning it down paid off. And meh....selling a £35k box for £31k sounds like beating the banker to me!

Welldone Jo! :-D £31,000 is a lovely sum of money. I hope you enjoy spending it!

P.S. Nice to see Mally again. :D

Well no, not really. But what I meant is that £31k and £35k seem so close in value to me that I wouldn't be at all bothered to have the former when I could have had the latter. You're right, though (can't believe I said that) - it was technically a victory for the banker.

(Albeit one that happened a few weeks ago! You're a bit late!)

Why exactly was Mally given a red card? I missed most of this show.

I quote from seanyuk85 in the "DOND funny moments" thread...

seanyuk85 wrote:
mally: your boyfriends a lucky man, i wonder what he's been rubbing

noel produces a red card from his pocket and shows it to mally

I think Mally said that in reponse to Jo having a model of a Buddha and rubbing its tummy for good luck (as well as the comment about rubbing Big Ron's tummy for good luck)... I think it was Jo's game... correct me if I'm wrong.
