John's game today.

Noel asks what will the player bring today, as it always influences the game. The contestants bring along all sorts of things, and Sam brought along his mum who influenced his game, and yesterday Geoff spoke to his son in the morning who told him if he was offered £15,000 to get out of there, and Geoff was offered £15,000 3 times and took it on the 3rd offer, but could have walked away with £250,000.

John has box 1 today.

John is originally from Scotland and talks a little about where he was brought up. Noel says that from John's file it seems his whole life is upside down, as he has had quite a few jobs in the past and now he is a student, and John talks about how he wanted to help kids and is now training to be a teacher. John shows us a few of his pictures, and his wife is in the audience for support. John's wife talks about how they met in a pub after he sponsored her for an event, and he has still never paid her!

Newbie Steven first, and Noel says he has had a letter about Steven and he has been told to tell him not to do it! Noel then reveals that the letter was from Steven's fiancee and she doesn't want him to pick his nose on screen, as he always does it!

The Banker then calls and throws Wayne out for having the 1p two days in a row! John talks about the tattoos he has on his shoulder which are his birthday numbers, 16 and 3.

The Banker says that he has a 3 figured number on him as well, and one of those is a 6. He says that John has been a very powerful force while on the wings, and thinks that John is far too smart to blindly go to the end, but would do if the offers were bad enough. He knows that he won't be able to buy John cheap.

John says that would pay his student fees. He says that he didn't come with a figure in mind, but did say that if he was offered £15,000 in the opening round he would create history and walk! The Banker calls and says that if the £75,000 hadn't have gone he might have offered the £15,000, but he is now looking forward to the scrap.

Isn't that a weird one says Noel as he looks at the board. The Banker says that he thinks John was playing a little mind game with him over saying he would have walked at £15,000, as there is no way he would have taken it and just looked to ramp it up on the next offer.

Wasnt it around 6 months ago they tried to launch a new governor? I forget the exact value but seem to think it was around £16k. You're right though KP, the £15k will hang around for the life of the current set of wings who witnessed Geoffs game.
