I feel that's a big mistake. Was very worth another round.

He clearly doesn't care less about the catapult...

That came too late to help says Noel. The Banker says that final box saved Nick from disaster

Banker's offer would've been:

£16,000

I've seen less inflated valuations on the housing market than that. Ludicrous guilt trip - well done Noel for setting it up.

One round too soon.

The way he has played today's game, he probably would have blown his chances at either winning the £250,000 or £100,000 if it was him playing the last two games.

There's obviously something fishy going on - Noel's opening the box and it's only 4:47!

Noel wonders if this is one of those rare beasts that is a draw

Noel opens Nick's box 16 and reveals £750

Right. Let's see how badly manipulated THIS ending is. Double or nothing for the extra £6k and three sets of boxes?

Nick says he is feeling very good about that. The Banker then rings back and says that Nick might have beat him but he doesn't get to go on the catapult...

The Banker then has a think and offers Nick the chance to go on the catapult, but it will cost Nick £1,000, but if he wins he will double his win to £20,000.

Nick will get a practice go first.

Based on historical evidence, this is a negative-expectation gamble.

Nick gets to have his practice go on the catapult, but he misses.

Noel asks Nick what he wants to do...

Nick says he is going for it....

Nick fires the brain but misses...

That was a very good try and worth a go says Noel.

Nick goes home with £9,000.

TBH, these extra gambles appear to be more like a punishment for dealing early during a theme week, if you ask me. Jade, Jess and Nick all dealt before 5-box, and ended up with their winnings docked.

Just one shot for £1k wasn't very fair. He should've had at least 2 attempts (not including the practice).

They do have the option of not giving up any of their winnings, but obviously these twists are tempting the players into doing so.
