Andy's game today.

Noel says he observed yesterday that the manner in which the contestants give advice is all retained and remembered by the banker.

Andrew Watts is a postman and he says he loves it as he works in the great outdoors. He says he's actually a floater as he often does other postman's rounds and is sometimes a driver! Andy shows a pic of him with his wife and their daughter, and we also get to see a pic of Andy's grandparents and he gets quite emotional. He explains that his grandparents brought him up, and shows a little "super dad" ornament that he has with him.

Noel talks about what Andy wants to do with the money, including clearing debts, going on holiday, and getting a second car. However he also wants a season ticket for Leeds Utd!

Noel asks what Jean in the audience thinks and she says that was alright. The banker says hello to Jean and asks Noel if he remembers the Mrs Merton show!

Jean just says it's a nice offer and Noel takes the microphone away from her.

The banker rings and says he always rings twice when a postman's playing.

Lots of spin by Noel but in reality playing a two box game as he arrives at 11box. Sure, we will get some smiles and cheers if a blue is revealed, but in reality his offer will not go anywhere north of £9k. Im even tempted to say a stick.

Noel calls Kath a wicked witch because that's what it says in her file, and Kath says she's called that because she used to be quite persuasive in her old job!

The banker congratulates Kath on making an Oscar Wilde reference while she was talking just now, and says most contestants just make jokes about Nando's!

So they made a point of not mentioning Nando's in George's game, but it gets mentioned in this one.

Now at 8 box with a two box game, but hes lost all his backup. Seen worse boards but the low fruit is hanging around. Noel is talking up the 10p, but i think thats partly irrlevant to the offer.

The banker says Andy's lost all his backups and losing one of the top 2 in the next round will really damage the offer.

Clever stick, but with the two big ones on the board that would be a terrible deal if he had one. zomg now we have the "faint heart" speech.
Is he in a lot of debt then - have they said how much?

A £75k/peanuts five-box ought to be close to £6k, a £100k/peanuts five-box probably ought to be above £6k. The Banker is threatening to slash the offer for hitting either, so basically you can forget the five-box offer, play for the two-box offer, and you basically have £6k on a blue/£20k finish (because the blue/£75k and blue/£100k offers will be in the £20k bracket, and it's about 50-50 that you keep one to two-box). Which is marginal. I'd go on though, just in case the Banker bothers to make a decent offer at five-box.
