Carlton is very postive and says that money couldn't have bought the experience he has had.

Noel asks if he can read out the book, Carlton agrees and it's £6,000.

Banker offers

£200

The contents of Noel's book:

"Whatever happens I've had the richest experience of my life, but £6,000 would sort me right out"

A nice quote from Carlton. The offer is £200.

Carlton says "he's having a laugh" and NO DEAL's it.

Looks like the offer of a swap is on the table...

Carlton picks up the phone.

The swap is offered.

Carlton says NO.

And Carlton's box contains £10 :( :( :(

He's off down the Union!

:? That was a horrible game, really didn't want Carlton to walk away with a low amount as he's a great bloke. It would be easy to say he could have walked at £15,000 but I think I would have gone on at least one more deal with the board as it was, and he just had an exceptionally unlucky sequence. At least someone won £20,000!! :)

Carlton looks on the postive side and says at least he got £9.99 more than Nick.

Viewers competition now, will the £20,000 go or will it be rolled over.

It's box 3 and contains £20,000 :o

Viewers competition, the roll-over.

Box 3 contains £20,000 :D :D

Marian Thompson of Ripley wins it, and at least the name stays on screen a bit longer this time! :-D

Indeed. I have only just noticed this. Two episodes of DonD a day has that effect on people. I'm sure he'll correct it when he notices.

How many times has he seen games go pear-shaped, and if his goal was £6K WHY NO DEAL at £12,500 and £15,000???

I have a target which I would like to win, if I was a contestant, and I don't care HOW MUCH there's left in play, if I got an offer close to my target I'd be outa there, to think Carlton could have dealt at almost THREE TIMES MORE than he wrote he'd like to win. Dunt make any sense at all to me.

No, because there was so much more potential on the board but people like Nessie, Pennie and Daz have to ruin it

The player is responsible for his own game. He makes all the decisions so even though it's annoying to see other contestants attempt to influence the guy in the hotseat, it's ultimately his decision to pay attention to them or not.
