Banker deserved to be punished today by a £15k win. If I'd got that offer at 2-box, I've have pointed out that 22 and 38 made 60 and asked for £6k instead.

I'm not sure about some of the questions Noel posed at the beginning of the show but the origins of the £26k is an easy one.

£2,238 at 2-box was an appalling offer, really was. On that board, it's an absolute shocker, and after relentless bad luck, Charlotte deserved something to bail out with there after the all blue round and she never got it.

Given Noel's regular polemics against third-offer Deals, I'm surprised the etymology of the £26k motif hasn't been traced to it being the first amount anyone took at 11-box. As I understand it, in actuality it was traced to two consecutive OBWs from £26k Deals in 2007.

I would have taken the swap, but I don't belive in lucky numbers, I believe that if the 250k or the 1p if left at the end then its on the table. I'd be screwed if I was in a position where they were both left.

Yep and 2 all power 5 finishes £35k/£75k and £100k/£250k. Just a good job Bunney turned down the £26k in his game in the next game.

Awww Charlotte!!! What a totally gorgeous girl, she deserved a better game than that, there was nothing wrong with £7,000, sometimes people just decide to go all the way, sometimes paying the price, the £2,000 offer was a joke, and to top it off she cried (understandably), I hate it when girls cry!!! lol hopefully a 1p win wont happen for ages now, just watched her game, am on a mega catchup mission after been away!! :(
