Irene has box 15.

Irene is a retired cafe owner, and she talks a bit about how she did B&B and ran a restaurant there. Irene has her husband and children in the audience today. Irene shows a pic of her granddaughters and grandsons, and talks about how one of them sings and dances on stage as he's part of a band. She also shows an old B&W pic of her family.

Here we go...

Banker playing a tight game, and the clock hints that it might just backfire...

£15,000+ is a job well done for me here.

Given previous offers I doubt she's getting it though.

Noel reveals Irene has an ambition to go to China to see the great wall and the terracotta army. The banker says the contestants are life-like dummies, so she doesn't need to go to China to see the terracotta army. Irene says she was born in Wales, and she hopes that'll worry him, but he says he's not bothered as she's not in her early 20s!

Banker's offer:

£6,750

I would anticipate £10k... Nowhere near.

Either Banker is playing to lose in order to maintain this run of playing to the end, or he is going to make a deceptive leap to "adequate" generosity at the ADP in order to throw her.

With the top two power 5 and a backup, that is a joke offer. Designed to push her on for sure.

Average is nearly £50k.

I think £15,000+ is still a reasonable, if not a tad conservative, benchmark.

A realistic offer now would be circa 20k plus
