Shannon's friends say she still has some big values with backups, and it's unlikely she'll take out high values in the next round. Hugo says there's still another round in it.

Shannon says

NO DEAL

Would just about prefer this board at 11-box to the opposite, I think. That would be a good hypothetical decision. How many would swap boards for the eleven that have gone? It's more of a decision than that actual offer...

Think the Banker was stingy going down £500 there - she took out only the fourth-highest amount on the board, as well as a blue and an orange...

Would this be the sort of board on which to offer £16k, I wonder...

Noel says the 1p has really pulled the offers down recently, but Shannon still has 3 big values. The banker says the solidity of those 3 values balances out the dragging power of the 1p.

Banker's offer:

£12,000

I think I would want £15k here. That's roughly what I would expect for hitting one and only one big red in the next round, which is the likeliest outcome. (Basing that on it being £75k; it goes up if £50k and down if £100k, natch.)

Well, I suppose Noel and the Banker have a point about the 1p...

I'd go on regardless, though.

Shannon says if she plays on now, she thinks she'll play on to the end. Shannon talks about Sophie's game, and Jim points out that Shannon's game is different. Her friends say she's given out good advice to the others, and she needs to go with how she feels. Shannon says she has no idea what to do, and Noel helps her by running through the possible outcomes of the next round, and she says she's worried that she doesn't have any good backups. Noel talks about the rise of the OHO, and wonders if that is an influencing factor here.

Shannon says

DEAL

£12k is no insult, but it's also No Deal.

Maybe the emphasis on the 1p reduced the offer upside potential.

Expect a massive proveout lie if it goes...
