You'd have had to turn down the £5k in a flash to get £20k at 5-box, something I doubt Millie would have done even if she'd decided to play on. The one argument for dealing at that point was that one of the big numbers going in the following round could have resulted in a real punishing offer - a lot of us probably would have taken that chance, it seems Millie wasn't prepared to. Still, at least we had a second game in a row where proveout lies have been thrown back in the banker's face!

That is another amazing game says Noel.

I'm sorry - but I completely disagree with Noel there.

A rather pointless and annoying mid-round Banker call, a £5k deal many times more predictable than Sunderland beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Sebastian Vettel's F1 glory, an inflated post-deal offer, some rather forced entertainment (Noel wanting Elli to show her legs) - I certainly wouldn't call this game "amazing".

Is there anyone else who feels that Sunday games tend to be of a lower standard than weekday games?

Not really a comment on the game, sorry, but with your name and avatar do you have something to do with RMF1254? Own it even??

How wonderful. Not only one of an iconic type of bus but the only one of it's kind (the Northern General fleet versions having subtle differences).
;)

I just happen to be a big bus enthusiast, that's all. Are you one too Kaledmutant? :)

RMF1254 is indeed unique, as of course is rear-engined FRM1.

Anyway, I suppose Millie dealing at £5k was the right decision for her - but it was still mind-numbingly predictable...

Always have been a bus enthusiast. Love the RM fleet which is now sadly disbanded and spread across the world. Where did your avatar picture come from? Love the "Froom" too and it is entirely unique, and IMHO a missed opportunity as a model of bus for London even if it did have a few teething problems due to fires in the electrical systems in it's early days. Nowhere near as dangerous as the "bendy bus" issues.

Found it on the AEC commemorative site:

BTW, apologies to those who might not be happy that we're going seriously off-topic here.
