I'm pretty sure he's stopped quite a few players from having quick rounds - saying they were a bad idea.

That might have been even more dramatic if she'd called a quickie and it had been interrupted two boxes in...!

To be honest, Noel always seems to want to control any dramatic box openings. More than once, he's made to-be-edited from the final show-remarks to box openers between 5 and 2 box to make sure that they don't open the box before he's told them to and in terms of building up tension, I can see why they want to do it.

I liked Lilly, her throw to the break was possibly one of the funniest i've heard in ages and her aversion to marriage was something i can easily emphasise with.

Have to hand that one to the Banker though, a surprise offer at 5 box then a sly word in the player's ear and he saves himself a fair bit of money.

As to Noel stopping her doing a quickie round, i don't think anyone's ever had a quickie that late in the game and in terms of drama/tension i can see why. At that stage in the game every single box counts and rushing through it would be bad television - I really don't see anything more sinister in it than that.

Didn't someone once opt to open all three boxes in a round at the same time, which was particularly weird for the reaction it got!

Anyway, Lilly was quite a quirky character, don't think I entirely agree with her views on marriage, but then again I just experienced one of the best weekends of my life last week when my brother got married! :D Personally, I think the concept of getting married is a good thing, as to the form it should take, well that's a very personal thing, and if she feels awkward in a lavish dress that's understandable, but to say all weddings are 'stupid' is a bit of a sweeping generalisation to people who genuinely experience happiness during the occasion. No problem if she doesn't want to get married, but don't attack those who do, this whole attitude put me right off her to be honest...

On a more positive note, I'm really looking forward to these specials to see how the awesome set and costumes I experienced as a pilgrim merely half a year ago now come across on the screen, gonna be amazing!
