We are slowly approaching our 5th birthday says Noel, and so far only 2 women have won the £250,000, can Marshall be the first male winner? The Banker says that Deal or No Deal is a game of luck and Marshall can take out the £250,000 in a flash and he doesn't believe that Marshall has the luck today.

Banker's offer:

£36,500

Marshall says that there is only the 10p to shift now. Darren tells Marshall to just take some time and think about this. Marshall asks Anji what his wife would say here, and she thinks his wife would say deal. The Banker calls back and apologises and thought that Marshall would show a sign of dealing at that offer, but it looks as though Marshall is determined. Marshall goes back to Darren and asks him what he would do, and Darren says that if he was playing he would consider going on. Alex tells Marshall that the biggest winners are the biggest gamblers and it is not an easy decision to make.

Marshall says

DEAL

The Banker says that yesterday we saw how cruel a round can be to a contestant and today it shows how it can be cruel to him!

Banker's offer would've been:

£700

Great game and is that the biggest win so far in season 6 ? :smt023 :smt023

Strange that box 17 had the £250k considering it has come to the table 4 times this month already

Enjoy the money, Marshall!!

What a brilliant order to pull off the 10% chance with, and from a player whose earlier attitude had primed him for a guilt trip after the Deal given a moment's chance! Got Noel all ready to pull the trigger, and then that happened. Game of the season so far?

About time someone won more than £26,050!

Were finally gonna reach the turning point :)

Fantastic game. I really thought Marshall was going to go all the way regardless of the offers so a bit of a surprise when he dealt, but what impeccable timing.

Well done to Marshall for the biggest win of Series 5 (so far)

What a great game, Marshall turned out to be a really fun contestant, and to pull off the 10% chance in that way was really satisfying, stopped Noel's 'squandering' spiel right in its tracks! :D Also pretty impressed by my own EV calculator estimate, which was just £200 out on the 5-box offer. I wonder if there's some fun to be had with this next time I go to the studios... :ponder:

The perfect way to play the game. Demonstrate to the banker that you can afford to take some risks, take the risks on some decent but not extraordinary offers and then bail out on a risky board for a great sum of money.

This could well be a turning point in the season.
