Banker's offer would've been:

£7,000

And he got beat at the last minute...still least my lucky number would get me £6,000 more than Jim! ;)

Pleasantly surprised he Dealt given the whole "firefighters are risk-takers and thoroughly admirable" (deliberate omission of the Oxford comma, as the ideas are being quite deliberately conflated) element that seemed obvious just from the recap.

Turned out to be a painless OBW, for a sum lying slap bang in "average result" territory, from smart play, and both sides can take comfort from that. Just glad this one's over and done with really.

I liked the way Jim played up the running joke with Howie at the first offer, and when the phone rang after the 1p was revealed i knew exactly what the Banker was going to say

Sensible deal at 5 box which sadly didn't quite pay off, and once again a child innocently predicts the location of a P5 amount

Another sensible deal which although an OBW, was one that Jim would lose much sleep over.

At least the Howie £200 stuff is over now - was starting to get a bit predictable.
