Banker's offer would've been:

Sorry to say it but b******s, Banker!

These unlikely offers in proveout aren't HONEST!!

This is easily proven today considering that the first DOND £250k winner, Laura, was only offered £31k (?) with only £5,000 and £250,000 left. Someone please correct me on these figures if they are wrong.

£45k with a £3k kicker, but you're right that this was ludicrous.

Enjoyable game, with Noel getting confused over Steff & Stacey, The Banker's round and of course the ritual torture of "Unlucky" Howie. Shame the proveout didn't go Ian's way (if only so we could have avoided the inevitable honesty debate over the final offer) though actually i was half expecting the Banker's Gamble at the end, mainly because of the emphasis the Banker - and Noel - had put on Ian's GF telling him which box to keep

Well, fair deal of the final 2 was around £25k, in reality he'd probably have got £20k, so we can agree that it was quite an inflation. According to my calculator, anything under £5k at 5-box shouldn't be taken, and £3k made it an easy decision really. I haven't really worked out the calibration for 4-box offers, as it suggests £13k which seems a bit high; I think £10k would've been a fairer offer at that point - roughly, each blue found should increase the offer by around £5k, I think.

Anyway, entertaining game, much more the deal of old, we're just looking for the banker to be a bit more generous with the offers, then it's really game on again! :D

Amusing game today - Howie's game is going to be a corker when he plays.

Asking the banker to pick boxes was almost inviting the conspiracy theorists to have a field day - thank goodness the 3 reds weren't higher than they were.

A third day running with a power 5 / blue finish and a 3rd day that the blue was on the table.

To be honest, I didn't really like Ian at all - I thought he showed too much disdain towards the banker in the early stages, I thought he was asking for trouble when he said the banker could pick his boxes (as I'm starting to believe there's a sort of knowledge of what's in the boxes before they're opened). Then also I thought he was dishonest in the proveout- he was saying at 5-box he was trying to decide whether to save box 4 or 9, I know he had to take out 4 to get the next offer, but then he didn't save 9 either (presumably as he was trying to find the £100k), and if he had he'd have beaten the banker. Oops.

I know £31k was way-inflated but the banker probably wanted to punish him for being like he was earlier in the game!!

But that mid-area of the west-wing are stars of the show at the moment, we alreay knew about Howie and Angela, but that Ashlea thing was funny too!

Well I really enjoyed this game. Thought it was funny Noel not knowing the name of one of his own staff, although there are that many its understandable. Ian wanting the banker to ring back at the end for a joke and the phone remaining stoney silent that really tickled me.

The way some of the wings are celebrating every good box opening seems a bit ott at the moment and the joke with Howey is wearing a little thin (if i had £200 I'd send it to him myself!) although he's taking it in good spirits and I think his game'll be a good un.
