Yvonne has the 35k for the second time in a row! Why can't these players just leave her to the end for once?

Dave goes to Darren who talks about Rob's game and tells him not to lose sight of the money and he could just end up playing all the way to the if the next round goes against him. Dave thanks everyone for their advice.

Dave says

NO DEAL

This is ridiculous!

Cautious people get all the luck and people like him get sod all...it's totally unfair! :smt009

Box 15 with Imaini contains the £1

That is amazing that Rob had the same outcome yesterday says Noel.

And once again, a defeatist deal backfires...

Well, today's game was a more respectable crash.

Great opening, it's been a long time since we've got to the first break with all of the power 5 still in play isn't it? Shame about Paul having the £250,000 again though, as it could have quite easily have been his game either of the past two days...no doubt we can expect a blue in his box (at least he remembered he had the £250,000 yesterday, not very often do they pick up on having it so often without Noel having to point it out).

£11,500 at 8-box though did show how inflated yesterday was, as he got that offer on a much more stable board (and as a reflection of character also, Dave took more time to deliberate over the offer :suspect:)

Yvonne - one of the power five, once again. Surely someone must have picked up on her run of reds by now!

Once again a fairly strange final deal, as he had just "no deal"ed £3,000 with only £75,000 above it.

It seems to me that we're going through a phase of inconsistent gambling...

Yeah and it's also a phase where the gambling is not paying off

Unlike yesterday, I felt that result today was completely undeserved - the early offers were similar to Rob's but on a far stronger and stabler board, and I felt the offers were all fairly poor, and £3k at 5-box was lousy indeed (to be honest I'm amazed at how many people though he should deal!), but I knew time was against the edit and £75k would go before 2-box.

Don't blame him for dealing the £400 either. Unlike Rob yesterday who dealt a similar proportion of the top amount but had £250 as a consolation, Dave had only £1 which is nothing, and in context of the game, £1,000 isn't really that much better than £400. Even though he did turn down £3k with only one amount above it, there was a potential £72,000 to gain at that point, at 2-box there was only a potential £600 to gain. :)

To be fair, the £400 was comparatively a much better offer than the £3,000.

That sort of generoisty at 8-box or 5-box wouldn't have gone amiss. :)

Agree with James completely. The 11-box and 8-box decision today were ones which were a gamble but with stable boards.

From 8-box, there were only 6 out of 28 final 2-box combinations that didn't have a 5-figure sum in them so put this one down to a sensible decision going wrong.

Dave was just unlucky really, his board did seem quite stable but once he started finding the big reds it started a domino effect and he was left with nothing.

Strange though that two days in a row now the player has dealt the final offer when they both looked resigned to opening their boxes. Cant even dismiss it as fear of the blue in Dave's case though to be fair you can do a lot more with £400 than you can with a quid.
