Jo's game today.

Noel says what a week it has been and refers back to his opening yesterday where he talked about OHO's and how if every player was one there would be 51 winners of the £250,000, but so far this week everyone who has gone to the end has ended up with a disaster, and it will take a special player today to put that behind them.

There goes Noel mentioning about the OHO club again...

But what's the point, you can just tell straight away that this will be another disaster

Jo has box 4 today.

Jo is from Wakefield and is a first aid trainer, she has her husband in the audience for support, and Noel tells how she met her husband in a bar and started chatting to him and was then sick all over him! Jo says that he held her hair back for her while she was sick!! She says that she can't hold her drink and has that problem quite a lot, and then asks Noel if she can open her box to be sick in now! We get to see a picture of Jo's daughter.

Noel says that Jo will change this as the Banker is saying that Jo will be unluckier than Nicky Tucker who never had an offer higher than £250.

The first DoND game to take place on the day of a World Cup opening match (it was against the ceremony rather than the actual match though, so I watched both) was a £25k OPW. This game might be a £2,500 OPW based on that opening round - worst ever by FD at 17-box?

Not quite. The worst opening round by any standards was Buzz in season one, who took out the top three, 15k and 10k.

Still, generally if someone has an absolutely abysmal opening round they rarely end up with a blue...

Jo says she might consider that, and Noel thinks she has really been knocked by her opening round, and Jo replies that she really has.
