She's made the right call mathematically, but has she made it for the right reasons? And is the right call for the wrong reasons still the right call?

I don't know. All I know is that I want this decision to work out for her.

Perfect 1st box, guaranteed 2 of the power 5 at 5-box now and at least 1 six figure amount.........

£50k is just about OK as a 2nd box too.

That'll do. Expect a 'rewarding courage' five-box offer and a Deal here.

This ought to be £35k minimum I reckon. Doubt it will be more than £40k though.

The banker says he doesn't know what valuation to put on this box! He asks to speak to Jodie so he can be sure what offer to make. He speaks to her and Jodie says she's scared! She says he asked her how much the offer would go down, and she said "go down?!".

Banker's offer:

£41,000

There's the 'rewarding courage' offer as I expected. Now it's time to deal.

£41k is enough to deal now. Most 2 boxes other than the dream finish would probably be too risky to deal a decent offer.

Jodie says that would do everything and would secure their house, help her brother and have a great holiday. She asks her dad, who says it's excellent money.

Jodie says

DEAL

Woah!

Talk about generosity, I would be thinking about dealing at this point too

This has to be quoted for immortality. Point. Missing. Much?

The bit in italics made complete sense though. Very few would go on, and Jodie was right not to.

That's utterly harsh. A very good decision made to look very bad.

Jodie says that would've totally covered her mortgage and everything!

Jodie has £100,000 in her box 14
